Tuesday at Villian’s

I love long weekends. They are the greatest. Not only because I get a longer weekend but it also means the following work week is shorter! This last weekend was a great one, I was able to get a lot of things done around the house and a bunch of tasks crossed off my to-do list.
I was also able to get a couple fun thing in like watching movies with my husband, going sight seeing in Chicago and breakfast at Lou Mitchell’s!
The awesome weekend ended and it was time to get back to work.
Breakfast
I started off this Tuesday with a coffee and Glo Bar.

Lunch
I was amazed at how the Glo Bar filled me up until lunch time. Around 12:45 I headed to the cafeteria to get my lunch on.
I got a side of pasta salad.

Now, I always show pictures of the food I eat *before* I eat it. I thought I would show you a picture of what my plate often looks like *after* I eat.
See, my eyes are often way bigger then my stomach so I get all this food but can’t eat it. I have mixed feeling about the food I waste but I’ve always had a problem with having to clean my plate. It took me along time to be able to leave food on my plate so I’m okay with it.
My next move is to try and not take so much food. Baby steps:)

I also had a cup of turkey noodle soup which was fantastic on this chilly day!

Snack
Around 3:00 pm I wasn’t hungry but I was craving some fruit. Who am I to forbid my body from what it wants. I opted for a Pink Lady apple. My favorite!

Dinner
After work my husband and I had an appointment with out wedding photographer. We had to meet up to discuss what pictures we wanted in our wedding album.
After the meeting we decided to go to a local bar/restaurant for dinner, Villains. Once we were seated I ordered a Raspberry Cosmo.

For dinner I had “The Mother Load” burger. A burger with hash browns, american cheese, bacon and fried egg. Holy crap, this was one great burger experience.

I couldn’t eat all the burger but my husband was more than happy to help me out. The fries were on an entire different level. These seasoned fries were the best I’ve ever had! So freakin’ good.
Question:
What is the best burger you’ve ever had?

Hmmm I would say my best burger would be 5 guys Burgers and Fries. I get it loaded up and taste delicious almost every time. However I am a huge fan of Red Robin burgers and CheeBurger Cheeburger

That burger looks so good. The best burger I ever had was here in San Antonio. There is a place that makes gourmet burgers that are "da bomb". Pink Lady apples are the best!

I don't know if drinking Amazing Grass makes me feel better, but I feel like sneaking in some extra greens never hurt 😉

    I love a good burger!

I don't know if I could handle a burger topped with an egg. Haha. That's intense!

The Glo Bar looks great. Still thinking about ordering some. Or some flavored peanut butter. it's a tough call!
