Weekend With Wings

This weekend has just flown by. I can’t believe it is already Sunday night! Didn’t get everything done that I wanted to but I did manage to check off a couple things on my to-do list. That works for me!
Here is a look at some of my eats this weekend.
Saturday Night Dinner
I’m trying to use up some food that is taking up room in my fridge/freezer. This dinner was literally thrown together in a wok and heated up. Consisted of fresh garlic, rice, corn, snow peas, soy sauce and left over spicy broccoli. All the flavors worked well together and tasted great!

Dessert was a bowl of Edy’s Slow Churned Samoas Cookie Ice Cream:
So good! I can’t have this in the house anymore because I have no self control!
After ice cream it was time to say goodnight. My little dog was just tuckered out:

Breakfast
I woke up early today and started cooking breakfast for my husband. I started off preparing some warmed apples.

2 gala apples, agave nectar, cinnamon and a little water.

Next up was bacon for my husband. I pulled out the Cuisinart Griddler and started grilling some meat.
Patrick said it turned out good. I will have to take his word for it since I don’t eat bacon like this.

I do, however, like blueberry pancakes so that was my next task. So I mixed up the batter:

and for the heck of it I crumbled some bacon into the batter:
Cooked them on the griddler, covered them with syrup and chowed down. The bacon was awesome in the pancakes. The salty-ness really came through!

Let’s not forget about the most important part of breakfast, Coffee!

Nothing better than a latte with some ground cinnamon on top:

Great breakfast! Can’t wait to share with everyone what I made to eat during the Super Bowl! It was so freakin’ good!

Oh my God…I had NO idea I could get Girl Scout Cookies in ice cream form. (well, actually maybe I had hear something about Thin Mints)

I call Samoas "Caramel Delights," but regardless of the name, this is on my must-eat list! 🙂
