New Year – Yes Please

I was a very happy lady to put the year 2012 behind me. Last year was one of the roughest years (so far) in my life. I’m really hoping that 2013 takes some pity on me and my family. We could all use a good year!

My first day of 2013 was spent watching the Huskers get beat in a bowl game. Not the way I really wanted to start the year but we always have next year, right?!?

I woke up in need for coffee so I dragged myself to Carribou and enjoyed a latte and cinnamon coffee cake, delicious!

I indulged in some deep dish pizza from giordanos for lunch. Definitly a heavy lunch but necessary (in my mind) when watching your team get beat the last game of the season 🙁
