Giordano’s – No More?!?

I definitely made up for Saturday’s lack of eats on Sunday!

Breakfast

I started off with a bowl of Amy’s Alphabet soup.  This soup reminds me a little bit of Spaghetti O’s but of course it tastes better for me and is healthier for me.

Lunch

Nothing better than a bowl of Edy’s Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookie ice cream topped with Sander’s Hot Fudge.  Not the most nutritious lunch but sometimes a girls gotta eat what a girl wants to eat 😉

Dinner

Patrick gave me some sad news on Friday.  He informed me that my favorite deep dish pizza place, Giordano’s, filed for bankruptcy.  I will be 100% bummed if this place goes out of business.

I had to order a pizza on Sunday, you know, just in case they do go out of business 😉

A medium pepperoni and cheese pizza.

Look at that crust:

With a side of pasta and marinara.

Let’s take a closer look at my slice of pizza.  Can you see the cheese?!?  Yum!!!

After all those carbs I really needed and craved a salad.  Greens, carrots, onions, olives, cucumbers topped with a vinaigrette.

And a Candy Cane lane tea as a night cap.

One thing is for sure, pizza leftovers are in my dining future and I don’t mind 1 bit!

Question:

Do you like Amy’s products?  If so – Which one is your favorite?

My favorite is the Alphabet soup.  It’s so good and perfect for winter eating.

I hate it when great restaurants go out of business 🙁
I will admit though, that pizza doesn’t look like my style of pizza. I like thin crust! That’s just me though…
As for Amy’s, I’ve only had the black bean soup (I think it was black bean) It was…ok, not great. But of course her soups are low sodium so I’m sure that’s why I didn’t LOVE it. I’m all about low sodium, but it was still so bland, it needed something else. I’m not against trying other Amy’s food though!
