Catch Up – It’s a long one

One of the best things about coming home after a long day at work is seeing these two little guys get all excited to see us:

It really doesn’t matter if we are gone for 5 minutes or 8 hours, they always spaz out when we walk through the door :). Look up unconditional love in the dictionary and you will see a picture of a dog. They are the best!

It’s like they think we will never return when we leave the house.

After all the jumping around Solera demands belly rubs:

Once Cappy realizes we are home for good he will position himself in one of our laps:

If a lap is not available he will either curl up in a ball on the couch or lay like this:

It’s so cute how he tucks his two front paws under his body, like a little deer 🙂

Breakfast

I totally forgot to take a picture of my breakfast on Wednesday. I had about a cup of grapes. And a bottle of water with a crystal light packet:

Friday Eats

Breakfast

Life was way to busy this morning and I wasn’t able to eat anything! But, I was able to grab a large water with Crystal Light:

Lunch

Since I didn’t get any breakfast I decided to hit up Freshii and grab a large soup. Spicy chicken broth with carrots, celery, corn and rice noodles:

Dinner

I attended a birthday party after work so a couple (un-pictured) cocktails were consumed. Not the best use of calories but sometimes you need to live a little. Moderation is key, right?

Patrick and I always order a pizza on Friday’s. I usually get a pepperoni pizza with wings on the side. This time I was trying to be a little healthier and opted to only have cheese, green olives and broccoli on my pizza:

The combination was a little strange but still tasted good.

Those cocktails really put my calories way over target!

Overall:

I’m eating better than I normally would have been had I not been paying attention to what I eat. I still have a lot to learn but I’m working hard to understand nutrition. I’m also starting to incorporate exercise in my daily routines.

So now I’m back on track with the blog and I will be updating my eats and exercise everyday.

Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend!
